What injections are given for joint pain?
Steroid injections typically in large joints like the knee, hips, and shoulder. We can also provide limited steroid injections to smaller joints like elbow, wrists, fingers and ankles to improve functionality.

Joint injections are beneficial in patients who are experiencing severe pain with limited movement. They are helpful for sports injuries, acute injuries like a motor vehicle accident or fall and are great for patients who are not surgical candidates. We provide them under image guidances, quickly and safely in our office.
How long do joint injections last?
The effect of injection therapy is dependent on a multitude of factors including pathology of the joint or injury and activity level. Our goal is to improve symptoms quickly and effectively so our patients can get back to doing the things they enjoy!
